Hi and welcome to my blog, I hope you find something of interest here! I also blog over at The Mansfield Review about vintage fashion, old movies, and pop culture and Briar Rose and the Bearz about my life and thoughts. You'll find a lot of post about my Autism journey with my three kids and home schooling (that was a journey let me tell you!)  But now I mostly just blog about health, fashion and creative stuff there.

I started this blog to create a space for myself as an author to talk about all things literature and find out the stories of other authors as well. I'm passionate about the human stories behind people's art- and so I decided to include other forms of self expression and creativity as well. 

Here you will find interviews with musician, artist- anyone creative!

I'm a mum of three children and I spend my time caring for them, writing stories and studying. I manage to to do this by drinking copious amounts of coffee and escaping into my fantasy worlds. (update- I no longer drink coffee as it's bad for me and was causing severe inflammation- so I'm now on the hard stuff- water)

I live in Rural Australia, but I've has always had a love of English stories and the country side. I grew up hearing the stories of Enid Blyton, Little Golden Books, and classic fairy tales, and always knew from a young age I needed to be a writer too.

I love fantasy and Sci-Fi...ok I'm a big of nerd, I love dinosaurs, and Back to the Future, and Dr.Who...need I go on? 

I'm now just finding time to start getting more serious about my writing and I hope to see my name one day on the cover of a Mills and Boone book, or my books published my Harper and Collins or Penguin Books- that would be my dream come true!! 

My absolute favourite author of all time is Jules Verne because he was a genius visionary. 

I've self published multiple titles- and my picture book first book, 'Archie the Brave', was read by Fergie the Duchess of York on her YouTube channel- not too shabby!

I've also written a picture book with my son, 'The Unhealthy Ghost' and one with my daughter, 'The Royal Birthday Surprise' and currently working on a novel with my adult son. Writing stories it my children has been one of the greatest joys of my life!
